I visited Suffolk, L.I. for the first time in April of 2001, hoping to learn more about my Corwin ancestors. Unfortunetly, there wasn't a lot for me to research. However, on my visit to the local library, I met up with a wonderful historian by the name of __________. It was then that I learned that my great great grandmother, spelt here as Mary Balys, was actually spelt Mary Bayles.
